تهران-دفتر هماهنگی امور بشردوستانه سازمان ملل (OCHA) امروز (دوشنبه) همزمان با سالگرد جنگ در نوار غزه، اعلام کرد که «فاجعه بی امان» در منطقه محاصره شده فلسطین باید پایان یابد.

به گزارش ایرنا از خبرگزاری آناتولی، جویس مسویا سرپرست معاونت امور بشردوستانه و امداد اضطراری سازمان ملل، در سیصد و شصت و هفتمین روز از جنگ غزه در بیانیه‌ای اظهار داشت: ۱۲ ماه از مصیبت بی امان گذشته است، این باید پایان یابد.

این مقام سازمان ملل تاکید کرد که «کشورهای عضو باید از نفوذ خود برای تضمین احترام به قوانین بشردوستانه بین‌المللی، حقوق بشر و رعایت احکام دیوان بین المللی دادگستری استفاده کنند».

وی همچنین در حالی که از کشورهای عضو سازمان ملل خواست تا برای «پایان دادن به معافیت از مجازات» تلاش کنند، افزود: [برقراری] یک آتش‌بس فوری و صلح پایدار، مدت‌هاست که به تعویق افتاده است.
